Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children as specified on our invites to our wedding events. The exception being babes-in-arms.
Due to space constraints, unless specified on your invite, we cannot accommodate any plus ones.
The RSA is well connected by London's tube network, located 3 minutes walk from Charing Cross station or Embankment or 8 minutes walk from Covent Garden.
On street parking is also available on John Adam St.
Please note, our wedding date falls on Trooping of the Colour so there may be some road closures. For those of you travelling by car or taxi, please allow extra time. There will be no restrictions in accessing the venue itself by car.
As of 08.06.26, there are no planned closures on the Strand but the surrounding area will be busy. Current closures as follows:
Fully closed from approximately 05:00 to 15:00: The Mall (Admiralty Arch to Buckingham Palace), Horse Guards Road, Horse Guards Parade, Birdcage Walk (Buckingham Gate to Great George Street), Constitution Hill (Hyde Park Corner to Queen Victoria Memorial), Marlborough Road, Spur Road, Cleveland Row, Stable Yard and Queen's Gardens. These closures are imposed by the Metropolitan Police under operational royal security powers, not as a published traffic order.
Rolling closures from approximately 08:00: Whitehall from Trafalgar Square south to Parliament Square restricts from 08:00. The Whitehall Gate to Horse Guards Parade closes at 10:00 sharp. Parliament Street and Parliament Square approaches restrict during mounted regiment transit. Trafalgar Square, Cockspur Street and Pall Mall East close periodically for cavalry movement and crowd control. Northumberland Avenue faces short closures. Pall Mall restricts as carriages assemble at St James's Palace.
Reopen time: All closures typically lift between 14:00 and 16:00 once troops return to barracks and Metropolitan Police complete sweeps. No formal reopen time is published in advance. Check tfl.gov.uk and the Met Police newsroom in the 48 hours before the parade.
Details on transport to follow closer to the date.
